Sasangir has the distinction of being the last earthly refuge of the
Asiatic lion. In the paisley-shaped Kathiwad peninsula of Gujarat stands the
Gir National Park and Lion Sanctuary, the one and only remaining habitat of
this proud and majestic species (Panthera leo). Sasangir Lion Sanctuary is
home of some 300 Asiatic lions. Close to being an extinct species, the
number of Asiatic lions has been steadily rising since 1980 in this safe

The city of Dawn, Udaipur is a lovely land around the azure water lakes,
hemmed in by the lush hills of the Aravalis. A vision in white drenched in
romance and beauty. Udaipur is a fascinating blend of sights, sounds and
experiences an inspiration for the imagination of poes,painters and writers.
Overlooking the aquamarine expanses of the Lake Pichhola stands the
splendid City Palace a marvel and granite and marbel. Exquisite lake palaces
of Udaipur, shimmering like jewels on the Lake Pichhola are overwhelming in
splendour.
Several places of interest around Udaipur, with an interesting excursion to
Ranakpur. After lunch, you can visit the Shilpgram Craft Village and then
continue for Jaipur. All meals on board the Royal Orient.

The
capital of Rajasthan is the most colourful city in India, with it's famous
pink coloured buildings, museum, observatory, Palace of Winds and the
colourful bazaar. Breakfast and lunch on board the train. To explore the
city, an air-conditioned coach takes you to Hawa Mahal or the palace of
winds, which is a remarkable five storeyed building along the main street of
the old city in pink splendor with semi octagonal and delicate honey combed
sandstone windows.
And yes, how can you miss the shopping in your Jaipur tour. Jaipur is the
place to shop until you drop ! It has a plethora of handicrafts and other
attarctions.
